Psalm 3:4
To the Lord I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill.

Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up my eyes to the hills..from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made Heaven and Earth.

Matthew 6:6-8
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Matthew 6:9-13
This, then, is how you should pray:  "Our Father in heaven,  hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. "
